Defoamer Defoam-10®

Defoamer Defoam-10®

Defoam-10® is an effective defoamer based on organosilicon liquid.
It is used in all types of drilling fluids based on fresh and sea water.

PACKAGING:

 Supplied in 227-liter drums

DESCRIPTION:

Opaque liquid from light yellow to yellow. The recommended dosage and frequency of treatment depend on the intensity of foaming.
Therefore, to establish the optimal application concentration and treatment method, preliminary pilot tests should be carried out in the dosage range from 0.05 to 3.0 kg / m3.

APPLICATION:

Defoam-10® defoaming is effective in all water-based solutions. It can also be used as a pre-formulated anti-foaming agent in the preparation of drilling fluids when vigorous mixing is required or when the components used have a known foaming tendency.

ADVANTAGES

  • Effective at low concentrations due to the presence of silicones;
  • Reduces torque and braking torque;
  • Effective in a wide range of water-based systems;
  • Effective in saline environments including CaCl2 brines;
  • Environmentally friendly;
  • High temperature stability;
  • Excellent compatibility with other drilling additives.
    Defoam-10® remains stable over a wide temperature range and at various pH levels. The freeze / thaw cycle does not affect the stability and performance of the product.
