Aluminosilicate microspheres in Ceramics
Aluminosilicate microspheres (cenospheres) are used as a core element for creating a refractory product, and abrasive products with high porosity.
Introduction of Aluminosilicate microspheres into clay reduces the mass of products, and improves their thermal insulation characteristics. Clay with filler requires less fuel for burning in the process of production. Content of microspheres in ceramics may vary from 40% to 90% depending on the purpose of the material.
